It Started With a Dog Named Ravioli
Our founder adopted Ravioli, a scruffy rescue mutt with anxiety issues, in 2019. Finding someone trustworthy to care for him during business trips was a nightmare. The existing options were either impersonal boarding facilities that stressed him out or unreliable neighborhood kids. There had to be a better way.
After months of searching for the perfect caregiver and talking to dozens of pet owners facing the same struggle, the idea for RavPaw became clear: a community-driven platform where pet lovers could connect with verified, passionate caregivers — for free.
Built Different, On Purpose
Most platforms in this space charge hefty service fees, taking a cut from every booking. We think that's wrong. Pet care shouldn't be a luxury, and caregivers shouldn't have their earnings reduced by corporate middlemen.
That's why RavPaw is 100% free. We operate on a donation-based model, supported by the generous pet lovers who believe in our mission. No commissions, no hidden fees, no premium tiers. Just genuine connections between people who love animals.
